Our porch is not a basketball net
Since I seem unable to find a UPS site that wants to hear about it's incompetent drivers in the Winter Springs, Fl area, I'm using this site to blow off some steam. We just moved here from another Florida city where UPS services were excellent. Now, we have delivery people who toss our packages from the bottom of our walkway...about six feet...onto the porch. We are home, we can hear it happen and, by the time we get to the door they've pulled out and are gone. No ring of the doorbell, no nothing. Three weeks ago we had a new cement porch poured. It was the second day and still damp with instructions from the concrete company not to walk on it for another 24 hrs. We placed colored tape across the walkway plus two flags in the middle of the walkway. The UPS driver walked in it! I happened to be heading toward the door and heard the sound of the box being tossed. I opened the door and he'd stepped on the wet concrete. "How was I supposed to know what all that stuff meant?", he said. I guess kindergarten is all that is required to be hired for a UPS position. Are you kidding me????? This morning, I opened the door and there was a sopping wet box from Amazon on the porch. Three bottles of BBQ sauce.... This company is absolutely disgraceful. Apparently there is no supervision, they don't want to hear complaints because they're too busy to care. From now on I will absolutely use only FedEx, even though it costs more.
