  • UPS is thumbs way down



    Waiting and waiting for the 8 hours late overnight delivery that is a replacement for the delivery UPS lost over the weekend. I wonder if I can convince the shipper to replace a replacement. Calling UPS customer service is useless. The stock answer is that the package is out for delivery. Definitely out on the truck now. I guess the driver got lost a week ago, somewhere in the 10 miles from the Doraville, GA facility to my home. Better send out a search party.     I am writing about the shabby service I received from United Postal Service and my local UPS store. - On 7/10/15 I shipped a valuable and sentimental piece of art work to Colorado. I insured it for $400 -It was well crated and then wrapped in corrugated cardboard and securely taped. -It never made it.   • Lost package/poor customer service



    UPS lost an envelope with a large check that was sent next day air. They claimed the envelope was delivered and put in my front door. It was not. When I called to speak with someone, they claimed no responsibility. My husband called and insisted to speak with a supervisor. She listened and then told him she would respond within the hour by phone and email. We are still waiting! I will NEVER use UPS again and will tell EVERYONE I know not to use UPS, use the post office or FedEx. Dont tell us we will hear back from you and then never call back, like my package doesnt matter.     On 5/18/2012 I was scheduled to receive a package via UPS. At about 4:07 PM the truck pulled up ad when we asked the guys if the truck if they had a package for us they said "no".I went upstairs and used the website to track the package and it said "Package delivered at 4:07 PM. Left on front gate". Not so! This is the second consecutive time that UPS does that with our delivery.It is not left or left at another address. They are very irresponsible.     We had ordered a product and needed it delivered ASAP so we chose 2nd day air shipping. On the day that it was due to be delivered my dogs bark as they usually do when someone is at our house. This alerted my that UPS was there. Our house sit about 600 feet off of the road. I watch the UPS driver drive by our house and then come back and park at our mailbox and for several minutes and then drove off.   • UPS slowest shipping



    One after another late deliveries. Every time I have a package that is being delivered on a Friday it gets rescheduled to Monday. HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN OVER AND OVER AGAIN? Drag out a dilivery usps has to my house if 3 days. UPS takes 8 because of the weekend add on. On top of that I have had 4 orders this year get left on the dock, even though it said they were on the truck every time. This cost me 4 vacation days.   • UPS screwed Pre-Christmas Delivery



    I'll tell you what brown can do for you..... I live in the midwest.....Illinois. Dec. 23rd......a package I depended on being here...was on the truck scheduled for delivery to my door according to UPS tracking. The truck came, backed down my long drive and a package was left.     After selling an expensive item $2000.00 that I purchased insurance on with UPS and shipped item thur UPS (tracking # 1Z610X754219780041). When buyer received item it was destroyed, buyer returned item to me in original packaging and inside of original box and put box inside of another, after recieving item back I contacted UPS and was refused by UPS to have the item investigated.     I contracted UPS to deliver a piece of furniture to my home in February of 2009. The furniture arrived damaged. UPS picked up the furniture for inspection, deeming the damaged was caused by insufficent packaging. The furniture was then shipped back to the original shipping location. The furniture costs $429.   • I've got nothing



    I purchased a piece of furniture in California in February 2009. I contracted UPS to deliver the piece to Arizona. The furniture arrived damaged. UPS picked up the piece and upon inspection claimed the damage was caused by insufficent packaging. I paid $429 for the furniture and another $197 to deliver it. The piece was sent back to the purchase location in California. I'm out $626 and I have nothing to show for it. I'm in the process of filing a small claims suit to attempt to recover my losses.     I have not received a box that hasn't had smashed and torn corners or holes from UPS. They will not allow you to pick up a package unless you call the day before to stop the delivery. Virtually no weekend service. Missed delivery on a Friday that required a signature. I was left an "InfoNotice" which only information was that they would attempt a 2nd deliver on Monday.     "Service" is a misnomer in this title. 4 precious tickets to "The Lion King" need to get from SC to NY asap. So, you go to the nearest UPS store and pay almost $30 to overnight them (Oh, and you have to pay an extra $3+ if you want your package "signed for".)
